It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Mae Josey of Washington, Georgia, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Noah Robert Josey and Eddie Mae Smith Josey; her husbands, Reverend Henry Lewis Josey and Samuel C. Bridges; and her siblings, Robert Addison Josey (Inez), William Arthur Josey, Charlie Ralph Josey (Betty Jane), Howard Frances Josey (Omie Lee), Hanson Gerald Josey (Betty Jean) and Peggy Ann Josey Thigpen.
She is survived by : her brother-in-law Charles Thigpen; her children, Julia Diane Josey of Brookhaven and Henry Hollan Josey (Brenda Alford Josey) of Bartow; her grandchildren, Henry Nicholas Josey of Dublin, Taylor C. Ford (Katheryn) of Snellville and April Josey McCall (Daniel Ethan McCall) of Bartow; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Brett McCall, Danielle Irene McCall, Olivia Marie Josey, Henry Noah McCall and Alexander James Ford.
