He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wills Bailey, Sr. and Patricia McCurry Partridge; his stepfather Harry Partridge; his brothers, Patrick Bailey and Herbie Bailey, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Mary Bailey and Rodney Roberson; and his in-laws, Bill and Ann Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Mercedes H. Bailey; his sister Penny B. Roberson (Mark Saggus) of Washington; his stepsister Mary Ellen Partridge of Evans; his brothers-in-law, Brett Hardin of Ft. Worth and Scott Hardin of Alabaster; and his nieces and nephews, Patricia Bailey, Toni R. Callaway (Tom), Abby Bailey Milner, Jessica Hardin of Arlington, Jason Bailey (Jessica) of Tignall, Scotty Roberson (Mandy) of Lincolnton, Owen Brantley and Jonas Brantley.
