She was predeceased by: her parents, William Geissler (Bill) and Melba Geissler; and her husband Bobby Basham. She is survived by: her son Mike Basham (Suzanne) of Athens, GA; and her granddaughter Casey Cox (Peyton) of Huntsville, AL..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at the Evergreen Memorial Park (3655 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606).
Flowers will be gratefully accepted, however in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary's Highland Hills Memory Care in memory of Linda Basham.
