He was predeceased by: his parents, Clydie Mae Cross Gomillion and Bascal Bleet Gomillion; and his brother Bascal G. Gomillion. He is survived by: his wife Janis Scherer; and his daughters, Roberta Bacastow (David) and Gail Chasteen (Tom). He is also survived by two granddaughters and one grandson; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a veteran's charity of one's choosing.
