She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Kennon Barber; her parents, John H. McElreath and Thelma D. Bowman McElreath; her son Johnny Meeler; and her stepdaughter Rachel Tapley.
She is survived by: her sons, Stacy Barber (Jennifer), Tim Meeler, Mike Meeler (Jeanine) and Mark Barber (Cheri). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
