She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar P. Middleton and Aletha Currie Middleton of Waverly, GA; her husband Robert K. "Bob" West; her granddaughter Anneliese Joy Hollingsworth; and her brothers, Oscar P. "Jay" and James Hall "Jimmy" Middleton.

She is survived by: her children, William P. C. (Smith), Cynthia "Tibby" Hollingsworth (Gene) of Kingsland, GA and Sylvia Adams (John) of Waverly, GA.; and her grandchildren, John Blake Adams (Candice), Rose Barber (Jared), Matthew Hollingsworth (Tanya), Aletha Mann (Bo), Sterling Rose (Dennis) and Benjamin Oscar Adams.
