With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Lee Whitley (Waverly, Georgia), born in Alma, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Sadie Dowling; her husband Ray F. Whitley; her son Robert "Bobby" Bruce; and her sisters, Billie Anglin and Barbara Whigham.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Eubanks (Gary) of Ray City, Larry Bruce (Hilda) of Hazlehurst and Danny Whitley (Rita) of Austin; and her siblings, Ann Carroll, Irene Lyle, Mary Jones, Sharon Tyner, Gene Pickren, James Pickren, Joe Pickren, Wade Pickren and Johnny Pickren. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
