It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Algertha Ray Perry (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Corene Owens Echols; her siblings, Clyde Ray, Caretha Austin, Annie Josephine Ray, Louis Ray, Lucy Taylor, Herman Ray and Willie G. Ray; her uncle Bishop H. J. Echols; and her son Emmanuel "Bubba" Ray.
She is survived by: her siblings, National Evangelist Louise Flynn of Waycross and H. J. Ray (late Ola Ray) of Detroit Michigan; her nephew Bishop Michael H. Flynn; her children, Willie Mae Durham (Charles Durham), Beverly Anne Daniels King, Lawanda Taylor (Billy Taylor), Tony Clark (Minnie Clark), Debra Clark (Ronald Clark), Renae Perry and Renard Perry; and her granddaughter Valerie Clark. She is also survived by children birthed a total of 17 Grandchildren over 30 great grandchildren.
