He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Capps, Sr. and Vonice Strickland Capps; and his wife Marilyn Phillips Capps. He is survived by: his siblings, Morris Capps, Jr. (Charlotte) of Waycross, Jerome Capps (Margaret) of Waycross and Gloria Douglas (Keith) of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
