It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlene Thrift of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Anderson and Etta Mae Adams Anderson; and her siblings, Nancy Nimmo, Willie Mae Anderson, Mary Lizzie Mosley, Dorothy Lee Harrell, Larry Anderson and Steve Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Coley Thrift of Waycross; her children, Angela Colene Thrift of Blackshear, Andy Thrift (Kimberly) of Brantley County and Randel Thrift (Ashley) of Waycross; her grandchildren, Abagail Denton, Bailey Denton, Jack Thrift, Tyler Thrift, Evlyn Thrift, Coley Thrift and Riley Taft; and her brother Curtis Usher (Reba). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swamp Road Baptist Church (4490 Swamp Rd, Waycross, GA 31503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
