She is survived by: her children, Calvin Eugene Carter of Baxley and Robin Carter Barnes (LaFerrell) of Waycross; her daughter-in-law Debby Altman (Larry) of Patterson; her grandchildren, Shelly Carter Cox (Randy), Stefanie Carter Swain (Chris) of Waycross, Sheila Carter Searcy (Jim) of Boston, GA, Sarah Barnes Baughman (John) of Summersville, WV. and Stephen Barnes (Kim) of Leesburg, VA.; her great grandchildren, Christopher Swain, Matthew Swain (Harley), Charles Barnes, Asher Barnes, Ella Baughman, Reid Baughman, Austin Fitzgerald, Dylan Fitzgerald, Khloe Newman and Jaxon Searcy; and her great great grandchildren, Veta Marie Swain and Lily Strickland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
