He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Darlene Simpson; children: Jonathan Berneche, Christa Weatherspoon (Ray Christian), Dustin Simpson (Darian Pridemore), Delone Simpson, Jayla Berneche; mother and father: James Herndon and Nancy Herndon; siblings: Amber Cyr (late Scotty), Dwain Simpson (Tiffany Wilkinson), Tracey Sapp (Jason); grandchildren: 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church of God (2606 ABC Ave, Waycross, GA 31503).
