He is survived by: his wife Jean Howard of Waycross; his children, Erine Bennett-Terry (Nez) of Perry, Dana Sowell (Brian) of Bristol, Georgia, Robin Buford (Chris) of Statesboro and Brian Nelson (Ashley) of St. Johns, Florida; his grandchildren, Madison Pritchard-Martenn (Hayden), McKenzi Whitley, Luke Sowell, Logan Sowell, Elise Sowell, Myra Dell, Wyatt Nelson and Trexton Nelson; and his brother Robert Howard (Ruth) of Tampa.
