He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bennett of Dixie Union; his children, David H. Bennett, III of Waycross and Callie Bennett Trammell (Jarod) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Ridge Bennett, Jake Bennett, Ellison Trammell and Jentry Trammell; and his brother Andrew J. "Cotton" Bennett (Sharon) of Dixie Union. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
