He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Strickland and Pearl Corbitt; and his brother-in-law Roger Moody. He is survived by: his wife Gail Wilkinson Strickland; his children, Bren Hugh Strickland (Katie) and Heather Denise Dumas (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Colby Dumas, Tanner Dumas, Axl Strickland, Wyatt Strickland and Ella Strickland; and his siblings, Ronnie Strickland (Mary Ann) and Gail Moody. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jamestown Baptist Church (3800 ABC Ave, Waycross, GA 31503).
