He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Ray Durr and Allie Lee Case Durr; his grandson Eric Bethea; his brother Oscar Lee Durr; his son-in-law Chris Hargrove; and his half-sister Joyce McCartney.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Durr of Waycross; his children, Becky Hargrove of Clewiston, FL, Marie Matthews (Windell) of Blackshear, Don Durr (Brenda) of Waycross, Dewayne Durr (Kimberly) of Patterson and Jessica Whitten (Dustin) of North Littlerock, AR; his grandchildren, Miranda, Tyler (Gabby), Lanee, Cassie, Mike (Brandy), Ray (Tiffany), David (Brittany), Derek, Tishia, Amanda (Josh), Blake (Catlyn), Brandon (Corrina), Zowie (Kyle), Brayden (Raegan), Dakota and Victoria; and his stepbrother Jerry Ables of Wesson, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
