It is with sadness that the passing of Dorothy Kimbrell of Waycross, Georgia is shared. Dorothy, born on October 27, 1929, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel O. Tuten and Ethel Rachel James Tuten; her husband Donald Hugh Kimbrell; her son Donnie Hugh Kimbrell; her sons-in-law, Jim Goins and Lloyd Stauffer; and her siblings, Howard Tuten, Carol Mound and Jean Cornelius.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Stauffer of Newberry and Shirley Goins of Chiefland, Florida; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jaskinsi (Drew), Michele Johnson (Scott), James Goins (Shannon), Brandon Goins (Becca), Matthew Goins and Kimberly Rizer (Shawn); and her great grandchildren, Addison, Connor, Bryson, Eli, Ali, Lola, Madelyn, Kaiden, Landon, Kyler, Chandler, Krysten, Amanda, Michael, Thristen and Hailey. She is also survived by many great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Oakland Cemetery (2410 Alice St, Waycross, GA 31501).
