She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Noah Haynes and Della Mae McFarland Haynes; her former husband Garris Keels; her husband Grady Lewis Pitts; and her siblings, Magdalene Haynes, Ruth Warfield, Naomi Freeman and Howard Haynes.
She is survived by: her son Garry Keels of Waycross. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at the Cottageville Cemetery.
