We announce the death of Elmer Alvin Baldwin Jr. (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Alvin Baldwin and Mildred Ruth Hall Baldwin (Waycross); and his sister Rachel C. Corbitt. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Carlson Baldwin of Waycross; and his siblings, James Baldwin of Alma, Melvina Odum of Waycross and Darrell Baldwin of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Jamestown Baptist Church (3800 ABC Ave, Waycross, GA 31503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
