She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mears and Mary Lee Mears; her husband Henry Sherman Winchester, Jr.; her daughter Shannon Lee Edwards; and her siblings, Christine Foran, Constance "Shorty" Eason and Luther B. Mears.
She is survived by: her daughter Sybil Yvonne Hyde (late Hubert Hyde, Jr.) of Waycross; her grandchildren, Melissa Yvonne Batten and Kelly Irene Edwards; and her great great grandchild Aaron Chambers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
