He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patten and Barbara Jean Callahan Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Murray Boyd of Waycross; his son Jason McKinney (Brandy) of Blackshear; his siblings, Frieda Thomas (Robbie) of Columbus, Michelle Crawl of Columbus, Rick Callahan (Fatou) of Columbus, Raymond Callahan of Columbus and Eric Callahan (Anethia) of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Keely, Cagen and Hayden McKinney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the BIG Creek Primitive Baptist Church (918 Big Creek Church Rd, Odum, GA 31555). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
