Jay Reiter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Reiter of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Jay may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He is survived by: his wife Candice Farge; his son Kyle; his daughter-in-law Eden Reiter; and his grandchildren, Emily and Kyson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of plants for a memorial garden in Jay's honor and colorful clothing to be worn at his service.
