He is survived by: his children, Amber Lay (Timothy) of Waycross, GA, Molly Lay (Robert Sailers) of Muncie, IN, Jeffrey Lay, Jr. (Christina) of Tampa, FL and Josh Hill of Waycross, GA; his grandchildren, Joss Goldberg, Jeffrey Lay III, Christina Heartmen, Shane Lay, Josh Hill, Jr., Grayson Hill, Robert Sailers, Jr., Gavin Sailers, Colleen Sailers, Ashlynn Sailers, Jayden Sailers, Jennifer Sailers, Sianna Goldberg, Mason Goldberg, Tristan Goldberg and Travis Goldberg; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Goldberg and Brooklynn Goldberg.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kettle Creek Cemetery (2523 Carswell Ave, Waycross, GA 31501).
