She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene John Byrne (Yankee) and Billie Mae Bowen Byrne; her former husband John T. Peterson, Sr. (Pete); her siblings, John Patrick Byrne (Pat) and Sherilyn Byrne Rigdon; her sister-in-law Shirley Byrne; her stepchildren, Debbie Peterson, John T. Peterson, Jr. (Jay) and James Peterson; her niece Patty Byrne; and her great grandchild Mason West.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Tyson; her daughter Pamela Crawford (Ricky) of Waycross; her stepchildren, Gary Peterson (Melinda) of Columbus, GA, Ran Tyson (Connie) of Blackshear and Ron Tyson (Tracy) of Texas; her siblings, Perry Byrne (Diane) of North Carolina, Bill Byrne of Missouri, David Byrne (Darlene) of Jackson, GA, Joyce Troisi (Vince) of North Carolina, Kathy Davis (Stacy) of Guyton, GA and Carol Adams (Jim) of Barnesville, GA; and her brother-in-law Amon Rigdon, Jr. of South Carolina. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sweat Memorial Baptist Church (510 W Blackshear Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
