We are sad to announce that, on September 25, 2023, at the age of 48, Mark Hurst of Waycross, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Lamar Hurst and Bonnie Byers; and his grandparents, Theodore Franklin Hurst, Josephine Eureka Hurst, Elbert Allen and Ruth Taylor Allen.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Hurst of Palatka, Florida; and his siblings, Lillie Mae Eubank of Florida and Matthew Hurst (Christy) of Pearson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

“I can’t believe I’m just finding out. He passed away and passed away The way he did I just found out some family and friends. Last time we were together was a month or two before he passed. We were planning a fishing and camping trip. He came by and his hummer with his kids that he adopted from his mom we knew each other since we were 21 as friends and went fishing and hunting together. And camping together, he was a good man, a good person and a good father and I can’t believe what they say”
