He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Lawrence Alford and Bonnie Moore Alford; and his siblings, Grace Etheridge and Leon Alford. He is survived by: his wife Janice Louella Johns Alford of Hoboken; his son John Alford (Pam) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Kelly Locklear (Caleb) of Waycross and Allison Bruchie (David) of Nahunta; and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Ava, Grayson and Eli Locklear. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
