He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dell Cox of Waycross; his children, LaVaughn Cox Woodard (Mike Chemaly) of Jacksonville, FL and Michael D. Thrift (Cindy) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Riley Woodard (Korre), Kasey Woodard, Graci York (Dakota) and Olivia Thrift; and his great grandchild Jace Woodard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
