He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Lamar Hancock and Evelyn Wedell Williamson Hancock; and his sister Yvonne Chastain. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hancock of Waycross; his daughters, Jessica Cason of Waycross, Crystal Hancock of Waycross and Hannah Hancock (Kevin Hodges) of Waycross; and his siblings, Jerry Hancock (Donna) of Waycross and Dale Hancock of Waycross. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Eagle's Flight Ministries (355 E Blackshear Ave, Waycross, GA 31501).
