With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Porter Adams (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rose Porter Adams to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stevenson and Mary Williams Stevenson; and her brothers, Charles Collins, Alfred Stevenson, James Stevenson and Robert Stevenson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hunter (Alicia) of Waycross, Michelle Porter of Waycross and Ricky Gay (Amy) of Blackshear; her granddaughter Christy Moye (James); her great grandchildren, Ally Porter, Cameron Hunter, Karsyn Crawford and Jocesse Moye; and her sister Patricia Carter of Jesup. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Swamp Road Baptist Church (4490 Swamp Rd, Waycross, GA 31503). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
