He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Heaton and Sadie Taylor Heaton; and his former life partner Jann Wheeler Heaton. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Heaton of Waycross, GA; his children, Kenny Heaton (Karen) of Statesboro, GA, Crystal Webber (Lee) of Alapaha, GA, Tammy Heaton of Nashville, GA and Adam Heaton of Ocala, FL; his stepchildren, Alex Wilson (Mildred) of Waycross, GA, Dana Thompson (Robert) of Waycross, GA and Ben Wilson (Kim) of Pooler, GA; and his siblings, Johnny Heaton (Diane) of Nicholls, GA, Billie Smith (Randy) of Alma, GA and Ken Heaton of Alma, GA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
