She was predeceased by: her parents, John Long and Carolyn Sue Herndon McLendon; and her brother Jonathan Long. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Francis of Cochran, Jake Francis (Jasmine Steedley) of Waycross, Allyson Brunell of Waycross and Emily Brunell of Waycross; her siblings, Sharman Nix of Waycross, Ruby Reynolds (Mike) of Waycross, Jenny Satterfield of Waycross and James Long (Kim Zipperer) of Tennessee; her stepfather Samuel McClendon; her niece Cierra Johnson (Alex); and her pet Oden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501).
