He is survived by: his wife Barbara Varnedore of Waycross, GA; his daughters, Bonnie Nix (John) of Blackshear, GA, Stephanie Varnedore of Waycross, GA and Tammie Shaw (Daniel) of Alma, GA; his grandchildren, Joshua Nix (Megan), Bethanie Nix (Nathan Hutcheson), Hayden Shaw and Riley Shaw; his great grandchild Hazel Grace Hutcheson of Hank Hutcheson, K. J; his sister Sylvia Thomas (Stephen) of Dahlonega, GA; his sister-in-law Debbie Carter; his nieces, Sonya Suggs (Ryan) of Lula, GA and Dixie Carrin (Michael) of Blackshear, GA; and his nephew Vincent McIntyre (Tess) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
