He is survived by: his wife Ruby Mercer of Waycross, GA; his children, Wendy Mercer of Waycross, GA, Tony Spence (Sabrina) of Douglasville, GA, Jessica Moore (Matthew) of Waycross, GA and Kylie Henderson (Freddie) of Waycross, GA; his grandchildren, Jayden Spence, Cassidy Walker, Brantley Moore, Charlie Crawford, Evan Henderson and Ronni Henderson; his great grandchildren, Bayne, Kaden, Taylon and Hank; his pets, Bella, Dolly and Duke; and his nephew Chase Spence. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
