He was predeceased by: his father Roger West; his son Levi West; and his brother Merritt Lee. He is survived by: his daughter Rokeya Jones (Tony) of Atlanta, Georgia; and his siblings, Robin McRee of Brunswick, Leda Holmes of Waycross, George Adams of Waycross and Roger Corbitt of Manor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
