She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Allen Carter and Ruby Inez Wildes Carter; her husband Fred Copeland; and her siblings, Inez Myers, Manning Griffin, Faye Phillips, Wiley Carter, Sr., Rhonda Leverett and Ruby Jean Lee.
She is survived by: her brothers, Dennis Carter (Karen) of Jacksonville and Allen Carter (Judy) of Hawthorne, Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
