He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Strickland and Lois Strickland; and his brothers, Steve Strickland, Daniel Loyd Strickland and James Dock Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Strickland of Waycross; his children, Tina Whitley (Danny) of Waycross and Riley Strickland of Waycross; his grandchildren, Shelby Card of Waycross, Haylee Card of Waycross, Alexis Strickland of Waycross and Preston Strickland of Waycross; his great grandchildren, Paisley Strickland and Rilee Weaver of Waycross; and his siblings, Linda Albritton of Offerman, Patricia Ammons (Wayne) of Waycross, Mary Norman of Waycross, Alan Strickland of Waycross and Edward Strickland (Becky) of Patterson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holiness Church (202 Snelson Street, Waycross, GA 31501). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
