He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Dyson Dowling of Waycross; his children, Elese Dowling Howell (Mitchell) of Waycross and William Wesley Dowling, Jr. of Savannah; his grandchildren, Nathan Koch (Tyjah), Drew Dowling, Lyla Grace Evans and Everly Hart Howell; his great grandchildren, Riley, Oliver and Wilder Koch; and his brother Vernon Perry Dowling, Jr. (Vicky) of Folkston.
