The passing of Geri B. Joyner (Waynesboro, Georgia), born in Macon, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 70. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Brookins and Willie Frances Russell; and her husband James Joyner. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Joyner (Jordan) of Girard and Courtney Scott (Bobby) of Keysville; her grandchildren, Brigham Scott, Bella Scott and James Luke Joyner; her sisters, Lisa McClain and Darlene Brooks; and her sister-in-law Cassie Broxton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Deloach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Waynesboro, GA 30830). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Remembrances may be made to the Burke County Animal Shelter.
