Kerney McLeod Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kerney McLeod (Waynesboro, Georgia), who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Kerney may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kerney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia McLeod; his daughter Stephanie Dunn; his grandchildren, Logan Fairley, Lane Dunn and Landyn Dunn; and his great grandchildren, Lily Dunn, Ryder Dunn and Kolter Akridge.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Deloach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Waynesboro, GA 30830). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
