He is survived by: his children, Lewis Vaughn IV of North Augusta and Rebecca Newman of Graniteville; his grandchildren, Lewis Vaughn V, Ivy Quinn Vaughn, Jana Newman and Parker Newman; his brother Bradley Vaughn of Denton, TX; and his stepbrother Gene Martin (Linda).
