It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael L. Newsome of Waynesboro, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Titus W. Newsome and Lillian Rebecca Benson Youngblood; and his brothers, Jimmy, Ronald, Bobby and Ricky Newsome.
He is survived by: his son Keith Newsome (Amanda); his brothers, Richard "Bubba" Newsome (Kathy) and David Youngblood; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Newsome, Cam White, Wyatt Newsome, Kinsley Newsome and Alaya Newsome. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
