We announce the death of Lee Robert Ross of Waynesville, Georgia, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 90. Lee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Ross and Blanche Miller Ross; his stepdaughter Cindy Howard; and his sister Bonnie Haines. He is survived by: his wife Mary Harvey Ross of Waynesville; his children, Montgomery Lee "Bo" Ross (Angela) of Edmond, OK and Tara Jo Haight of Brunswick; his stepdaughter Sherri Clark of Thalmann, GA; his grandchildren, Emily Wood (Dylan) of The Woodlands, TX, Jacy Cox (Allen) of Brunswick, Josh Clark of Atkinson, Robby Clark (Taylor) of Youngsfield, NC and David Howard (Alicia) of Thalmann, GA; his great grandchildren, Owen Montgomery Wood, Claire Wood, Kelbie Cox, Raiden Cox, Tinlee Cox, Bryce Clark, Ella Clark, Grant Clark, Riley Howard and River Howard; and his brother Don Ross (Toni) of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Palmetto Cemetery (3412 Ross Rd, Brunswick, GA 31520).
