He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Lee and Vega Lee Murray; and his wife Farris Jane Mize. He is survived by: his daughters, Marie Murray Givhan (Andy) and Lee Murray Carter (Travis); his grandson Dr. Samuel Webb (Hillari); and his great grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Winter and Harvey.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Valley-Point Funeral Home & Cremation (1011 N Lanier Ave, Lanett, AL 36863). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Chattahoochee Hospice in Don's memory.
