He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry "Blue" Lovelace, Sr. and Lillie Bell Thomas Lovelace; his daughter Ersla Lovelace; his siblings, Shirley Lovelace Kingu, Constance Lovelace Smith, Raymond Lovelace and John Lovelace; and his friends, Levon "Bill Bo" Heard, Charlie Shealey and Johnny Bandy.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Smith Lovelace; his children, Winifred Lovelace Mitchell, Ron Lovelace, Chauncey Smith (Annie) and Joq Smith (Kennesha); his grandchildren, Keyveshon Pruitt, Jasmine Lovelace, Shabre Lovelace, Chauncey Smith, Jr. (Myrtis), Shaquaria Smith, Ashanti Lovelace and Rayshad Smith; his great grandchildren, Peyton Flint and Malaya Webb; his sisters, Janie Lovelace Ransom, Penny Lovelace Ward, Yvonne Lovelace Mwikuta and Jennifer Lovelace Copeland; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Lovelace and Aaron Smith, Jr. (Anita); his uncle Schevron Travick (Betty); and his friend Tyrone Patterson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. W. Lee Mortuary (1304 E 10th St, West Point, GA 31833). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Keeney Memorial United Methodist Church (703 Ave K, West Point, GA 31833).
