She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Harrison and Albert Harrison Sr.; her son Walter Lewis Winston; and her siblings, Jessie Greenwood (Jim), Robert Hairston and Albert Hairston, Jr. (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her children, Kerry Winston of West Point, Michele Winston of LaGrange, Lisa Morgan of West Point and Derrick Winston (Alisa) of LaGrange, Georgia; her grandchildren, Candra Winston, Kerri Winston, Chelsea Winston, Cayla Winston, Maximus Hurston, Malik Hurston, Jutico Edmondson (Jabbar), Shadavia Jackson, Jecorey Jackson and Shonta Phillips; her great grandchildren, Aziyah, Caeden, Kasen, Khiley, CaLeah, Kaleb, Camilleon, Hartlee, Kian and Kaiomi; and her friends, Diane Winston, Brenda Truitt, Katherine Sheppard, Iveria Henderson, Michelle Davidson and Perry Prather.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. W. Lee Mortuary (1304 E 10th St, West Point, GA 31833). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Keeney Memorial United Methodist Church (703 Ave K, West Point, GA 31833).
