He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete and Mattie Lou. He is survived by: his wife Mona McHargue Ellington; his children, Taylor Ellington (Shune) and Donna Hall (Eddie); his grandchildren, Gavin Ellington, Raegan Lane (Jacob), Hunter Smith (Jessica), Teila Williams, Carly Carter (Jared) and Crystal Brantly (Sid); his sister Lou Ellen; his brother-in-law Charles Brumbeloe; and his niece Regina Yarbrough. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Chattahoochee Hospice for the exceptional care over the past year and asks that donations be made to the organization in lieu of flowers.
