He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Houston Sr. and Rosie B. Wallace; his brother Willie B. Houston; his grandsons, Jonathan L. Morris and Jeremiah Douglas; and his stepsiblings, K. C. Jones Jr., Jesse Jones, Walter Jones, Tommy Jones, Otis Jones and Eliza Ann Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Houston of West Point, Georgia; his children, Jermaine Houston, Tolandra Douglas of Toledo, OH, Angela Houston of West Point and Sherrondolyn Dawson (Jeffrey) of West Point, Georgia; his siblings, Rogers Houston (Laverne) of Riverview, William Jones (Allison) of Lanett, Alabama and Brenda Truitt (Leonard) of West Point, Georgia; his mother-in-law Gertie Corner of West Point, Georgia; his brother-in-law William Black (Venita) of Clarendon, Arkansas; his stepsisters, Ruby Jones of Valley, Dorothy Jones of Lanett and Deborah Chambers of Columbus, Georgia; his uncle Walter Wallace (Teressa) of West Point, Georgia; and his aunt Mattie Streeter of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
