She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnny Love and Mary Ann Murphy; her husband Lorenzo Russell; her son Darryl Love; and her close friends, Sandra Glover, Elizabeth Dormany and Warren Trice.

She is survived by : her children, Eddie Love, Georgia, Gabriel "Tony" Love and Shymia Love; her grandchildren, Jacey Love, Mazi Love and Vonta Love; and her siblings, Annie Ree Penn, Angela Slaughter, Johnny Ray Patterson and Douglas Love. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
