She was predeceased by: her parents, Howell Stanley Shellnut and Annie Mae Turner Shelnutt; and her husband Robert Edward Tanner. She is survived by: her children, Ken Waldroup (Dean), Stacey Waldroup (Brenda), Shane Tanner (Katie) and Wendy Waldroup; her grandchildren, Joseph Waldroup, Heather Waldroup, Ashley Bartlet (Brad), Danielle Waldroup, Sherry Bollen (Ted), James Michael Grimes, Jillian Waldroup, Grace Waldroup, Clint Tanner and Luke Tanner; and her brothers, Mac Shelnutt and Wayne Shelnutt. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Striffler Hamby Mortuary (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240).
