We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2023, at the age of 70, Gene Herschel Phillips of Whigham, Georgia, born in Albany, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lou Alma Jones and Green Phillips; and his grandson Aiden Glen Phillips. He is survived by : his wife Lois "Lottie" Fincannon; his children, Gregory Paul Phillips (Jodi), John Travis Phillips and Kelly Phillips; his grandchildren, Ariah, Taylor, Hunter, Allie, Dawson and Linden; his siblings, Jim Phillips (Linda) and Willie Green Phillips (Bill); and his niece Mary Phillip Hayes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
